MY EXPERIENCE

September 2001 - January 2003
Bank of Montreal |
Flash Designer + Developer

The Institute for Learning is BMO’s corporate training facility. My first role out of college was on a team creating interactive training CDs for branch employees. I designed and developed multiple learning activities (UX/UI) that allowed branch managers to track employee progress, ensuring staff effectively learned the required materials.

July 2023 - January 2026
Prodigy Education |
Senior Experience Designer

Prodigy Education was the second game studio I worked at, and my first in an ed-tech setting. As a Senior User Experience Designer, I not only shaped player experiences for ages 6–12 but also took a leadership role in guiding multiple game squads on design strategy and decision-making.

I led UX design on several major features that transformed the game into a more robust, feature-driven experience and created new opportunities for the company to achieve financial flexibility. Beyond individual features, I drove the adoption of strong UX practices across squads, establishing processes that improved creative collaboration, aligned teams around player-focused design principles, and accelerated the delivery of high-quality game features.

September 2003 - February 2007
Bigshot Media / Jupiterimages |
Art Director

I was initially hired to support marketing initiatives, but quickly moved into an Art Direction role where I took ownership of creative direction across video and complex animation products sold as stock clips.

In addition to hands-on creative leadership, I managed a small team of designers—setting creative standards, providing regular feedback, and keeping the team motivated while pushing them to grow both creatively and professionally. I focused on building confidence, encouraging experimentation, and helping each designer reach their full potential.

February 2007 - February 2011
Push Interactive / Zig Ideas / CP+B |
Digital Designer

My first ad agency experience focused on complex, highly crafted web experiences that used storytelling to guide users through the products being sold. These sites were designed to take consumers on a journey, using rich interactions and narrative-driven design to create deeper engagement.

I had the privilege of working across all major digital client projects, contributing in multiple roles including UX/UI design, animation, video editing, and audio production.

February 2011 - October 2014
Babyrobot / KBS+ |
Digital Creative

As with my previous agency, my focus at Babyrobot/KPS was on digital-first products, primarily websites. I continued to develop my craft across art direction, UX/UI design, animation, video editing, and audio production.

Alongside hands-on design work, I took on a leadership role as the lead creative on all projects I worked on. I also began mentoring junior designers I recruited to the agency, supporting their growth and helping raise the overall creative quality of the team.

August 2016 - May 2023
GLU / Electronic Arts |
Experience Designer

As a Games UX Lead, I worked closely Product and Game Design teams in shaping player experiences that aligned with key KPI targets, providing strategic direction and ensuring design decisions were grounded in user needs. I partnered closely with the UI team to embed their input early in the process, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to implementation.

I led UX design across major features for titles including Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Kendall & Kylie, Taylor Swift: The Swift Life, and Originals: Interactive Story Series, driving design vision and maintaining a high standard of user experience across diverse projects.

Beyond individual features, I took a leadership role in embedding UX practices across the studio’s creative and production processes. By establishing consistent workflows and fostering cross-team collaboration, I helped create a more unified, efficient environment that accelerated the delivery of high-quality game features while maintaining a player-focused approach.
